Element type: Bonus tiles.

 

Each tile is carved with Chinese images, sometimes a word of each of the four seasons (Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter) or each of the four flowers associated with the four seasons (Plum, Orchid, Bamboo or Chrysanthemum).

 

Each exposed (declared) flower tile will award (only) the winner with one bonus point.

Flower tiles need to be replaced with tiles from the end of the wall as long as tiles are available on the wall.

​

If the flower replacement results in Hu, Self-drawn may be added.

It is not mandatory to replace a flower tile, it may just be discarded (as a safe tile) in stead of being replaced, usually near the end of a game.
